Nails

So here is a peek at the "polish" section of my blog.  I have been a nail tech for about 4 years but haven't been able to pursue it until now.  I am getting back into the swing of things and I thought I would show the set of nails I did today on a friend of mine.  She just had to show my rings that I made the other day in there too!  I better check to make sure they are all still here! LOL! ;)

Button Rings

I actually didn't have anything to do on my day off so I decided to make a couple of these button rings.  They are my latest obsession... I was on a recent trip to HL and found these cute buttons while looking for some fabric. I kept thinking to myself  I already have sooooo many but I just couldn't help myself. ;) They just made the best compliment to the ones I already have.  So I decided to give them a try. I made 4 total but I know more are coming in the near future.

Golden Cricut

A couple people have asked to see what my golden Cricut looks like so here is a peek!  So pretty! LOL!  This was one of my prizes when I went on my cruise from the people at Provo Craft.

New toys

I got some new toys and birthday money so I spent it on some much needed "craft time"!  I had to make a couple cards for some birthdays so I got busy...... First I used my new "Golden Cricut" for the first time...yipee! I really don't know what took me so long! :)  Tell me what you think!  I have some 'old'  Chatterbox papers that I have been hoarding for a awhile so thought I should finally use them.  Throw in some nestabilities, glimmer mist, and a  little "bling" and here you go.  Can you tell what that color is? LOL!

My next card had to be a little bit more masculine...not sure if I pulled it off but I tried. They are a little more difficult for me because it is all I can do to not use ribbon or buttons! LOL!  I was inspired by a card I saw on another blog by a very talented lady named Valerie called Stampin' Gal Val.  I just love her simple style.  I always find myself going to her blog for inspiration.  Again I used some Chatterbox papers and a couple of my stamp sets by SU! and Papertrey Ink!  I hope you likey!

I am finally starting to get crafty!

So I had a few days off from work and I finally got my craft room into fairly working order. I am so excited, I think this room flows a lot better then my other one did. I had so much stuff I couldn't even get into the room when I opened the door! There are still a few boxes left but they are my nail supplies so I plan on getting those opened up sometime this week. I am itching to get my nail business off the ground too! I thought i would post a few pictures of my progress.....
